In 57 years still my favourite movie , nothing comes close. The ordinariness of people facing an extraordinary fear. Its presence is constantly felt in the little things, the human side of life. The fear of the unknown , the dark confronting and contorting expectation and what you think you know. It’s a perfect movie and will live on the psyche of humankind.

I’d heard a lot of praise about this movie, and I remember seeing a couple of scenes when I was a kid, but I never really remembered much. Now that I’ve finally watched the whole thing, I think all the praise is absolutely deserved. I was glued to the screen the entire time. The acting was phenomenal — most of the cast felt so real, like they weren’t even acting. The dialogue was great too, especially from that crazy sailor guy. He had some hilarious and intense lines that really stood out. There were even a few funny moments and some jump scares that actually made me flinch, which just made me enjoy it even more. The direction still holds up really well especially for its time. It never drags or stretches things out for no reason, which I really appreciated.

Definitivamente la mejor película de terror de los 70's La película envejeció muy bien y hoy en día, si alguien ve por primera vez está película le encantará sin lugar a dudas.

As my favorite shark movie of all time to this day, fins down, Jaws has it all. Not only was Jaws ahead of it's time in the 70s, I would say even to this day the visuals are still some of the best as in realness. Director Steven Spielberg didn't hold back in making Peter Benchleys novel come to life. With the use of full scale mechanical sharks, miniatures and real footage this infact has made Jaws the best of the best. Sure you might be able to see some of the mechanics at the end but the up close famous scene gives you all the scare you need to stay as far away from water as you can. Not only did Spielberg use realistic looking mechanics but he paired it with superb acting that makes you believe the people on set were in fear of their lives, which in some cases they were as the mechanical shark would malfunction and they shot a lot in open waters. These things combined with the music by John Williams made this film an instant classic. So don't walk but run out of the water to see Jaws!

One of the best movies of all time, Jaws proves many things to be true. One, it still has influence now, two, it is undeniably terrifying and entertaining, and three, it remains a classic of Spielbergs.

This movie never fails to terrify me, and it's amazing. When I first watched it I thought the shark was actually real, and the story was really compelling. I definitely recommend it for thriller fans!

The greatest movie ever. Of all time. A Steven Spielberg classic. Even after 50 years of this movie exsisting,no shark movie,or movie as a whole, has ever even come close to it.
