What an extraordinary film!!! The story unfolds against a true historical event that was a milestone in Israeli society. As a Hebrew speaker who lived at that time (although I was was pre-teen) and now an American novelist with an ear for dialogue, I found the dialogue absolutely perfect--nuanced and culturally correct for the time. So were the characters played by a great cast, each very authentic to a society still coming into itself. Growing up in Tel-Aviv, I recognized the kind of run-down factories next empty lots of thistles, the informalities in which the dynamics of the characters took place, and I recall the ongoing radio broadcasts during Eichman's trial and the emotions around me. Hurray to Jake Platrow for tackling this sensitive film in a language he doesn't speak--and coming out a winner.

I thought it was an interesting presentation on a rough topic. It was creative in the storytelling and unusual

A dull, boring and confusing film with subtitles often set against a light background making it difficult to read. I understand the writer's admirable intention to look at the Eichmann trial from a fresh perspective, but this effort is definitely not for most viewers! If you gave me a hundred dollars to summarize this film in three or four sentences I couldn't do it!
