Very good! Best Jurassic movie apart from the original!

A very solid edition to the franchise. It adds new and fresh ideas and is just a very fun time even if there’s definitely some wacky and over the top moments. I actually like most of the characters in this film which I can’t say for most Jurassic films. They’re entertaining to watch and I had fun going on this adventure with them. The indominus Rex is also so cool. So many cool scenes to shine and really feels like a threat. All the dinosaur scenes are pretty great too and I like the idea of Jurassic world basically being like Disney world with dinosaurs and the commentary on that. This movie is such a crowd pleaser and probably the most entertaining and rewatchable of the series. It’s not perfect though so let me get into some of the negatives. This film has some very cartoonish things about it. Specifically with the raptors. They’re no longer terrifying apex predators who you would not wanna get stuck in the jungle with. They’re now riding along with Chris Pratt on a motorcycle. I can’t say that isn’t fun to watch though but it is very silly and strays away from the horror roots that made this franchise so good. This still very enjoyable movie that I love to rewatch. 8/10

There will never be a Jurassic movie that will top the original. However, in its own right, Jurassic World actually keeps the story simple, but also brings it into the 21st century. These movies don’t need convoluted storylines and tech speak. They just need to find new ways that we have to escape dinosaurs. The final 20 minutes is worth the full watch in my opinion.

When I first watched this on a Jurassic Park binge watch, I already thought it was on top 2 best films of Jurassic Park ever. It really offers a lot of intense scenes and really great perspective on the dinosaurs, although the story is out of place, the film still manages to find the audience to entertain

A super fun new direction for the franchise, after the somewhat stagnant JP3. Everything that makes a Jurassic movie great is here, plus the introduction of a new hybrid. Bryce Dallas Howard is the standout, her chemistry with Chris Pratt will draw you in, and all the dinosaur chaos will keep you glued to the screen.

To me this is about as good as the original. And while I’ve never considered either a masterpiece, this one makes the park feel so alive and fun, and delivers some great dinosaur thrills. The best the franchise has to offer.

**Jurassic World** is a roaring return to form — a 3.5-star thrill ride that delivers exactly what fans like me always dreamed of: the park, finally open and fully operational. I saw this multiple times in theaters and it still holds up as a massive love letter to the franchise. The cast is stacked, the VFX are jaw-dropping, and the nods to the original film are nostalgic without ever feeling cheap. It balances tension, action, and even humor in a way that feels like every genre had a seat at the table — and somehow, it all works. The first act builds so much suspense, and when the chaos finally breaks loose, it’s gloriously satisfying. It’s both a sequel and a reboot that respects the source while forging something new. Second-best in the franchise for me, hands down. Now, time to revisit the next chapter — claws crossed.

This movie Delivered a few laughs and not much else. If this was a "Rebirth" then I think it's time to let this franchise become extinct.
