Just a Sigh

The dance between the two protagonist is rather amusing. Well done in a realistic way.

Slow moving but I really like these actors. I wouldn't recommend it.

Devos is quite good, but there's not much else to like in this slow-paced, inconsequential film.

OK, so I don't really know how good this movie is. Very early on I thought, "this would play VERY differently if the gender of the characters was reversed." So I watched two movies simultaneously and it was fascinating experiencing the audiences response to one movie while imagining their very different response to the other. Watched that way, it's wonderful.

Un fil ténu tient le film, et pourtant la tension est là. Les 2 acteurs principaux sont superbes, tout en finesse. De l'humour aussi.

On y croit vraiment à la fin...un peu moins au début. Très belle Emmanuelle Devos en tout cas.

Les loufoques parties comédie, avec d'excellents seconds rôles, sont très réussies mais la romance entre les deux personnages principaux, qui constitue la trame du film, m'a laissé de marbre, avec un Gabriel Byrne fadasse. Par contre Emmanuelle Devos est géniale.
