Just Wright

Although it's replete with solid supporting players and even stronger goodwill, Just Wright buckles under the burden of its pure intentions. Too many auxiliary, moralizing plot points and characters are picked up, only to be suddenly dropped.

Just about bearable.

Utterly predictable, unbearably trite.

Easy-going and sweet-natured, this "romantic sports comedy" finally dissolves into a gooey mess of over-cooked comfort food.

Likeable turns from Queen Latifah, Common and Pam Grier elevate the fairly rote material -- no big surprises here -- into a fun, basketball-based spin on the romantic-comedy.

If film titles get any lazier than this, I'm flying to Hollywood and setting fire to the Writers' Guild HQ building.

The movie isn't bad but…[Latifah] deserves much more than what she apparently think she does. [Full review in Spanish]

You'll be walking out thinking the film was cute and one you wouldn't mind watching again.

In a Queen Latifah film, and most assuredly in this Queen Latifah film, love is always possible and even the people who disappointment you the most are ultimately redeemed.

Latifah and Common have great chemistry and it's another romance where we like both of them and want to see them happy.
