Karate Kid: Legends
audience Reviews
, 92% Audience Score- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt's a pretty good movie 👍
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis movie is highly entertaining and that's what movies are supposed to be. Too much nitpicking in the ratings. Just go and enjoy the movie - period.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThis was a cute, refreshing story with new faces. I kind of liked the segue into boxing, as a different fighting technique; it was a decent twist to the story. I did find it interesting that here, the Asian wasn't as intelligent as most Asians are (need for a calculus tutor). Other than Ming-Na Win, the calculus tutor (I remembered his face but just realized he's the kid from the IT movies) was probably my favorite. Chan's role seemed to be more of a cameo than a main character role. He's obviously aging, the makeup couldn't cover that up. I think Fringe was the first, and last, time I've seen Joshua Jackson act, so I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was a bit pleasant, although his role was a bit softer than what it was in Fringe. MK from Into the Badlands seemed like a no-brainer for this character.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starslove the franchise, but being a direct sequel without Jaden feels like a personal foul against the smiths, and I'm tired of the extra punitive treatment of that family, after one mistake.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsStory line had some nice twists to it, such as the "student becomes the teacher" along with a very nice supporting cast. This was definitely a win for those of us who have followed the Karate Kid franchise practically our entire lives (including Cobra Kai on Netflix). There is a great cameo at the end that is icing on the cake!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was pleasantly surprised that a REMAKE was good. I'd see it again. Same Concept as the other one. One teaching good and the other teaching bad!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsShould have been longer with the tournament and added johnny Lawrence when they said kid fights rough he could have taught some. Movie needed 30-45 minutes more
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsVery rushed, zero character development. Fight scenes were great however.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsA good, heartwarming family movie. Chan, Macchio, and the rest of the cast did a good comeback. Some of the fighting sequences are also rooted in the original KungFu and Karate style. This movie sort of combines both Original KK movies(80's) (2010) and Cobra Kai(series)
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSpectacular. Better than the original!
