Keanu shines the Key and Peele dynamic we adore, where they embody our generation’s Cheech & Chong, Harold and Kumar, Mike Myers, and Dana Carvey. While the film may not resonate with everyone, as it doesn’t align perfectly with the typical Key and Peele feature-length comedy format, it will undoubtedly delight most fans of the comedic duo. Grading: B-

About what I expected from a Key and Peele movie. Main characters are very funny and quick-witted. I thought the story overall was really weird. If you expect to laugh, you’ll get what you come for.

Keanu is fun, and even sometimes outright hilarious, but it doesn't live up to the skills of its central performers.

Key and Peele deliver a fun to watch movie, it is a comedy where they accomplish on make you laugh. It loses opportunity in some parts that could have more development between the characters and for the story that the script sets but quickly changes and focus again in the objective to get Keanu back mixed with comedy and action.

Look, there is a lot of stuff I liked here (The very deliberate way toughness is exposed as a kind of performance, the unflinching violence and dark humor) but the movie never finds a way to connect these good individual elements into a consistent final product.

I can see why this film is not for everyone. But I personally thoroughly enjoyed it. The comedy hit the right way about 50% of the time. It was endearing how much they all loved that cat. Great movie for me, but not everyone's cup of tea.
