Kick

The plot is simply an excuse for Khan to trash guys who harass girls, make a smoke bomb, help star-crossed lovers elope, breakdance and steal from the rich to help sick, poor children.

It becomes a yawn. Salman kickin' it is fine, but tearin' up? Nahiiiiiin.

Even if you're willing to ignore the logic-free story and buy heavily into the cult of Bhai, Kick is bumpy, and far too convoluted to deliver the joyride of a Dabangg.

A star can lift a movie like "Kick," making its silliness sublime. That doesn't happen here.

With such a great ensemble cast, this film had so much potential, but I walked away with a headache and left behind three hours of my life that I'll never get back.

Kick provides a kick only sporadically. For Salman Khan fans, that should be good enough.

In a particularly insightful line of dialogue Khan says, "I don't enter your mind, I enter your heart." Indeed.

The director makes sure he serves everything required to make a Salman Khan fan happy.
