King Kong vs. Godzilla

It's dated and it's a kid's movie, but I'm sorry - I liked it and watched it every year on Thanksgiving growing up (WOR channel 9 had a Mighty Joe Young, King Kong and King Kong vs Godzilla marathon that day as I recall.) The adults played poker and we watched monster movies - then I sat at the kids table for my turkey hahaha.

I love this campy movie. Almost a comedy. King Kong playing peekaboo with Godzilla's atomic blast is classic. We watched it at the Saturday kids matinee in the 60's with the Hedora or smog monster movie. Great memories from both movies.

If you’re into monster movies or just appreciate a film that’s so delightfully over-the-top it practically winks at you, this one’s a must-watch. It’s like watching Cyril the Swan and Zampa the Lion, go at it again, but after a few too many drinks—utterly ridiculous and absolutely glorious.

This is the best so far. It is pretty darn crazy. It is wildly different to the first two films and is far more watchable because of this. The moments without kaiju are far more entertaining and engaging because it is so crazy and unexpected. There are goofy characters and fast paced silly decisions. It’s significantly more entertaining and looks much better but it's not great, the craziness makes it more entertaining but doesn’t make it good. So much as it’s an improvement, it is different. Giant monsters fighting and destroying stuff never gets tired.

Silly, crazy, fun!!! Have to watch for three types of viewers Kong, Godzilla, Monster/Giant fill in the blank fans!!! If this don't put a smile on your face nothing will the match of the century!

Quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. It was so bad I couldn't sit through it. I kept getting up and leaving the theatre, for popcorn, the restroom. Finally I went and sat in another movie to wait for my husband to finish it. It was awful, just a real stinker of a movie.
