Kingdom of Heaven
audience Reviews
, 72% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIt has beauty, grandeur, great acting and action. Most of all history that needed to be told. It is all shown in a couple of hours not a semester of college studies.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsCould have been way better but Bloom was a miscalculation, he just wasn't up to the task and you could see and feel it in every scene. A good watch, but unfortunately made flat by the lead.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI love this piece of filmmaking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThis should have been Scott's masterpiece, but Orlando Bloom is so out of his depth, so ineffectual, so absurdly miscast; that he robs the role and ultimately, the film, of any weight. We can't believe anyone would follow this wet sap. Such a waste, and not least because everyone else delivers. The otherwise superb cast, the genuinely exciting script, the flawless craftsmanship of the director and crew. Just Bloom, bringing everything down to meh.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsUnderrated Scott movie. great to look at, Great story Great acting. When Eva Green rides into the courtyard on horse I was blown away. She looked absolutely stunning. Wow
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Director's Cut is Ridley Scott's glorious masterpiece.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThe plot did move a little too slowly, but overall, it was an incredibly gripping and entertaining film. I definitely recommend it for history fans!
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsInteresting source material and fight sequences but that's where the good times end. Ridley Scott's cut is too long and leaves audiences bored one too many times. Orlando
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWhen watching this crusade epic it’s got to be the directors cut or nothing. So many essential character building scenes had to be redacted for theatre viewing which lessens the experience. Overall it is a great first and second watch.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsThe actors do an ok job in this movie but the portrayal of the knights templars as lowly thugs and bandits is unworthy and stupid. The film is one dimensional despite its attempt to show both sides of the conflict. The characters lack depth and the storyline is not compelling.
