Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
audience Reviews
, 77% Audience Score- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsinteresting premise but was not nearly as memorable as the others!
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThe visuals and CGI were the best part. Never really thought this movie was necessary. The story it brings is fine. Something I feel I might need to rewatch to appreciate more. As a stand alone film it actually could've worked relatively well. But continuing the story of Caesar irritated me. The third movie of the trilogy was such a satisfying ending. This continuation was alright and in all honesty I am interested to see where it'll go. Overall, not bad, not bad. I hope that eventually Wes Ball will eventually be able to direct something more original or personal to him. He has much talent. The only thing that I wanted fixed with this movie was the story. Not his fault. He did his job and he did it really well.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsReally boring movie. Doesn't stack up to the previous trilogy at all. All of the characters are uninteresting, the only good part was the CGI
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsReally good film.. can’t wait for the next one
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsSlow build up and very boring plot. Interesting concept but ultimately executed very poorly. The ideas were there, but with everything being drawn out it was a pain to keep focus. Ultimately, subpar movie, the best part about it was the CGI. The social commentary it contains was also an interesting point, but it is just too boring to be saved. Not a fan.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsIt was alright. But nothing like the three movies with Caesar. Caesar's character development was something else...
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThese are always great but this dragged a little
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsCaesar may be long dead, but Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes proves there's still a lot of life in these primates.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsApe-solutely Stunning!! You know how most franchises start milking their cash cows until they’re as dry as a desert? Well, this one is like a refreshing coconut drink straight from the palm tree! The cinematography is so stunning that I half-expected the apes to start posing for a Vogue photoshoot! 📸 Seriously, some movies are just meant for the big screen, and this one is a prime example! I was glued to my seat like a kid at a candy store, completely captivated by the storyline. Unlike other films I’ve seen this year that made me feel like I was watching paint dry, this one had me on the edge of my seat, popcorn in hand, ready for more! 🍿😄 I’m already itching to see what they’ll cook up next! You better believe I’ll be first in line—right behind a bunch of excited apes, of course! So, grab your popcorn, sit back, and prepare to be dazzled by the phenomenal graphics! This movie is a wild ride you won’t want to miss! Godspeed, my fellow movie buffs! 🎉🦍✨
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsDidn't know how to feel about this franchise continuing post Caesar, but this was a great start. I enjoyed the new characters and where the franchise is headed. I look forward to future installments.
