- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best animated movie to watch for Christmas (this review might contain a couple spoilers) Klaus is the perfect movie to watch with children and family when Christmas is coming. It’s a Christmas animated movie about a very spoiled mailman named Jesper, who is sent to a remote island by his dad with the purpose to send a very huge amount of letters on his own and stop being so used to others doing everything for him. As soon as he gets to the island, Jesper finds out that the people there are gonna give him a hard time sending those letters, since the island is home to two rival families that keep their days busy by fighting each other and no one seems interested in having peaceful communication through Jesper’s letters. As the movie goes on, Jesper meets a very lonely lumberjack called Klaus and sets up a plan with him: to make children send letters in exchange for the wooden toys Klaus makes. Then, as the children get excited about their new toys and even start going to the once abandoned school to learn how to read and write their letters, Jesper and Klaus get closer and closer and everyone in the island - that was once so sad and terrifying - starts decorating the whole place with joy and treating people with kindness, regardless of which family they belong to. The movie talks not only about a story to explain the beginning of Christmas, but also about how important it is to give a chance to people and how the innocence of children is capable of making two entirely different communities get along so well even after decades of hating each other. I honestly love to watch this movie every 25th of December, reunited with my grandparents, uncles, brothers, cousins, pets and whoever else wants to come and share a good family movie night with the most delicious leftovers from Christmas eve. I believe that Klaus was nominated for the Oscars for a reason, it is truly an admiring story, combined with such a fluid animation and a great character development (and I’m not talking only about Jesper, who learns how to live by himself and to value people around him, but about everyone he gets in touch with in the island.) I give this movie a 10/10 and recommend it every year for all of my friends to watch with their families as soon as the calendar says: December 1st.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsI absolutely love this movie. I don't know where I was in 2019, but I had not idea that this movie was released. It is pure, simple Christmas joy from start to finish. The animation is uniquely gorgeous, the story is crisp and there is magic throughout. Klaus is a movie that I will watch every Christmas season. Best Character: Jesper Best Quote: "A true selfless act always sparks another." - Klaus Best Scene: Jesper's First Gift Best Piece of Score: "Once a Year, I Get To See My Friend" Best Song: "Invisible"

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars(SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW‼️‼️) I'll be frank. I cried at the ending of this movie. The visuals are phenomenal, the storyline is amazing, I loved seeing Jesper develop from a spoiled selfish man into a selfless one. The humour is impeccable as well! I laughed at the jokes thrown here and there, but as I said, I also cried. Klaus is not just funny and happy-go-lucky, it's also an emotional movie. I think that they also hinted at Lydia being infertile when Klaus said that they waited and waited but they never came (the children) . And oh, man. Do not get me started at the ending, I've mentioned this several times now but I really cannot stress this enough. I cried so hard at the ending scene, watching Klaus slowly walk off into the distance and fade into dust as he joins his wife in peace... OH MAN.... I won't spoil anymore of the scenes that happen in the movie, but overall, this is an amazing film. Not just for children, but for teens and adults, I am a teenager myself and I feel this is a must-watch!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOne of the most outstanding animated films I've ever seen, and a Christmas staple in my household now. Beautifully written, dark but funny, and with a wonderful Christmas message about putting differences aside, I could watch this on repeat. Fantastic family film for kids and adults alike.
