Ladies & Gentlemen... 50 Years of SNL Music

This documentary kicks off with the best opening minutes I have ever seen in a music film.

The film shows the same mastery of archival material that Questlove brought to Summer of Soul, including a great opening that’s already gone viral on social media.

Ladies & Gentlemen…50 Years of SNL Music is wonderful look back at so many of the artists who have graced the stage at Studio 8H.

It feels out of place with limited running time, but I enjoyed watching this quite a bit. Worth watching for fans of SNL and music aficionados in general.

It might be the most cinematic TV special of its kind ever made.
