This Movie is so Bad that you can’t help but love it.
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Way better than any other crap my wife forces me to watch on movie night. Better than “my old ass” and “plane,” which I’m still being forced to watch (and currently in the middle of).
Turn your brain off, enjoy the comedy, the boobs, and a leprechaun in space.
Rating: 2 out of 5 stars
Leprechaun 4 in Space marks the fourth entry in the Leprechaun franchise, and as I've mentioned in my reviews of the previous films, Warwick Davis continues to shine in his portrayal of the mischievous leprechaun, even in this outlandish space setting.
This film is undeniably cheesy and over-the-top, with a plot and characters that often border on absurd. Yet, there’s something oddly captivating about its sheer ridiculousness. It’s one of those movies that, despite its many flaws, is oddly enjoyable. You might not want to watch it regularly—perhaps not even annually—but if it happens to come on, you’ll likely find yourself chuckling at its hilarity. It’s not comedic in a traditional sense; rather, it’s amusing because of how bad it is.
In terms of cinematic quality, I won't rate this movie highly. The direction, storytelling, and overall execution are quite poor. However, I have a soft spot for it, recognizing that its charm lies in its imperfections. You could easily skip this installment and still appreciate the Leprechaun series as a whole. The films don’t necessarily connect, aside from a few exceptions like those set in the hood, so missing this one won’t detract from your enjoyment of the franchise.
