Let's Start a Cult

Good movie to watch if you have 90 minutes to burn. Wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it. First half of the movie is developing a relationship between the 2 leads then 15 minutes later theres 6 other people whos characters aren't flushed out before, during or after. The highs are high, the lows are cringe. Most of the movie floats in the middle.

If you like Stavy you'll like this comedy. The movie is an excellent vehicle for delivering Stavy's style of humor.

This was an original comedy with jokes and themes I haven't seen before. Watching stavros bug the rest of the group was hilarious and I feel like the whole story was under rated. From him tracking down the leader who's now a clown, to having the new members teaching him about the reality of the situation, this was great. I was entertained more than other movies I've seen recently and I hope he continues to make some like this. This was absolutely goofy and I didn't know what I was getting myself into, I would recommend to anyone who's a fan of early 2000s comedies. There's not much like this coming out today.

Funny and would watch again. Obviously an independent film but not in a bad way

There were some laugh out loud moments early but the jokes started falling flat midway through. The last 45 minutes became a drag. I reluctantly stuck with and finished the movie.

Finally something different that don't totally suck. It's a good movie and worth the watch!

I know Stav wanted to make a movie that was just dumb and funny - and he succeeded! I think it's a great first film from him. It was totally absurd humor reminiscent of indie films from the 90s. I liked it a lot. Good job Stav.

A stronger comedy than I expected, mostly due to Halkias' performance.

Really fun movie - old-school, ridiculous, early 90s type comedy. Stavros Halkias was surprisingly good. Can definitely see him doing more in the future - even if it's the same type of character like those early 90s greats used to do over and over. The rest of the cast was decent as well. And hey - it made me post my first movie review!
