Life on the Line

Yes, full of cliches. Yes, predictable. Yes, over simplified, stereotyped Texas "redneck" characters. All that said, far more enjoyable than the critics whine about. Travolta's silly beard not withstanding, he delivers his usual credible performance. And the inside baseball of the lineman profession (even if not totally accurate) gives one an appreciation of the dangers involved.. My wife, who is unaware of the critics, expressed how much she enjoyed it.

Just a really enjoyable movie contrary to the ratings it has.

I enjoyed the movie and have more respect now for those that keep our power on. It takes courage to do this type of work. I watched it on Peacock, I saw the rotten tomatoes score and almost decided not to, the rating was not accurate at all.

I mean for starters how dumb was this acting like watching a soap ophera.

Poor acting, not much more to say

Uno dei peggiori film su professioni pericolose tratto da storia vera mai creato. I personaggi sono inquietanti, mossi in modo innaturale e incredibilmente "costruiti". Alcune sequenze di dialoghi sono imbarazzanti, sia per chi le ha recitate che per chi le guarda, un supplizio totale. Velo pietoso sulla scelta di mettere una coppia di attori over 35 per interpretare due ragazzi con crisi adolescenziali. Qualche buono spunto lo offre la fotografia e resta la storia che tocca un tema originale ed interessante.

This is absolutely one of my favourite movies! It tells a wonderful story and shows that love is the most powerful thing! I'd recommend this movie to anybody!

okay I got a lot of issues with this movie because of my job as a line clearance specialist and lack of credit we get during storm work for peoples power, but I ended up enjoying the movie which I did not want to do. but I respect those in the field I share.

You know all the "critics" on here feel like there just to jaded to sit and actually watch a movie through the viewers eyes instead of tearing it up just cause it's a little predictable. Yes you can guess the plot points about 10 minutes into the movie, but it was not a bad if a movie as they make it out to be. Give it a shot and you might be surprised.

The movie had my eyes a bit moist in the beginning then again in the end , but almost died at work as well so I'm bias. If its anywhere near a true story God bless.
