So few heroic women get the attention that they are due. Director/writer/producer Rachel Feldman gets it all. With depth and heart, Patricia Clarkson nails the performance. I met Mrs. Ledbetter in 2006 when I was in D.C. I was friends with her on Facebook. What a privilege it was to be in the presence of a true champion for the little gal. Feldman captures everything. The only quibble I have is that I was left with "WTF" with the son. I didn't understand that part of the story.

After reading the book, watching this movie was a must! I love Patricia Clarkson in the role of Lilly Ledbetter. The casting was brilliant. John Hickey played the husband brilliantly. With a complex story and only 90 minutes to work with, the team did a brilliant job of bringing the essential elements together, allowing us to feel Lilly's disappointments, courage, grit, and heart. I loved every minute. THANK YOU for bringing this vital chapter in women's history to life!

Patricia Clarkson is great and Lilly’s journey was extraordinary—deserving of an extraordinary movie. Unfortunately, this did not do it justice.

I enjoyed this movie. I didn't know the backstory of how the equal pay legislation came to be. Lilly should be seen by all to appreciate what women had to deal in the work force. I am definitely taking my four daughters to see this movie. Marianne Bonifacic

Patricia Clarkson gives a beautiful performance in an otherwise standard biopic.

Lilly is a must see movie. Patricia Clarkson does a masterful job of portraying the spirit, grit and determination of Lilly Ledbetter. Her relationship with her husband is also a highlight. Patricia must age throughout the film and she does this brilliantly as well. I disagree with the film critics who do not like the actual historical film clips in the movie. They add a huge amount of context and weight to the movie. This is an important story and well told!
