Wow! What a nice surprise this movie turned out to be! I'd heard good things and I still wasn't disappointed. The unlikely chemistry between two of my favorites, Charlize Theron and Seth Rogan, along with a well-written, very funny, and somehow poignant script is why I've adored movies my whole life.

What a stupid a.f. movie. I have a huge crush on CT but that doesn't even help

Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron star in the political comedy Long Shot. When presidential hopeful Charlotte Field hires her childhood friend and political journalist Fred Flarsky as her new speech writer the two strike up a romance that could damage her chances. Rogen and Theron give solid performances and have chemistry together. However, the humor is pretty raunchy and crude (as Rogen films tend to be), and the left wing politics are as heavy handed as all get-out. Yet some of the jokes work, and there's a positive message about overcoming one's pride and not letting the opinions of others control you. Long Shot has its moments and delivers a few laughs, but the raunch and the politics get in the way and drag it down a bit.

It overstays its welcome, but both Rogen and Theron have chemistry and great comedic chops.

Funny, funny and funny! Both Theron and Rogen nailed their roles and the movie was modern and had great visuals.

If the F word is your idea of comedy then this was made for you. No way she goes for this guy unless she has babysitter kid fantasies, first premise lost. This movie is not about politics, but it tries. It’s not about love affair, but it tries. It’s about a guy jerking off and proud of being humiliated. 🤦‍♂️. At least if was free....
