Longlegs
audience Reviews
, 61% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis movie was eerie, and you don't get eerie enough in horror movies. The ending was subpar, but besides that, Longlegs has what it takes atmosphere-wise.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsIt's a Nicolas Cage movie; that's all you need to know...seriously..it's a great movie. I recommend it.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsIt was interesting and good acting but overall was disappointing
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsWhen I saw this movie in theaters, I left terrified.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsOverrated nonsense. If this is the standard of ‘quality’ horror films nowadays, then I’m not optimistic in the future of horror films.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe direction and the script are both working against themselves. Early concepts are rendered null and void by the twists and how those changes re-frame the events of the movie. The director also tends to lean into and get lost in, certain visual aspects at the expensive of narrative cohesion. It is inexperienced writing, where the excitement of a good idea overshadows the flaws of it's execution, because the perpetrator sees all the things they know internally about how it should be, but somehow didn't include in the final cut or even script.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThis could have been a good movie if not for the fact they picked the wrong person for the leading role. She got her partner killed, she doesn't swing her arms when she walks, She breathes way to loud when pursuing a suspect, she has zero personality.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsHard to watch, absolutely horrible
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI will say that Makia Monroe and Nicholas Cage delivered in their performances and to be honest this is definitely Nicholas Cages best acting I've seen in a film, playing a psychopath definitely suits him in a positive way. The only issues were the plot. I did love how well shot the film was and the coloring was great too. It's mainly how instead of going through a horror/psychological thriller true crime serial killer type of movie I hope they were tending to do. They went for a more satanic ritual type of film and that's the main thing I didn't like. But the performances were outstanding and I would also love to see Nicholas Cage in more films and I'd love to see the director make horror films too.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsBit to much satanic stuff for me. I prefer jump scares over twisted devil stuff, But as far as a horror goes it was ok.
