Looking Glass
audience Reviews
, 10% Audience Score- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsMinus the last 5 minutes, this is a thrill-less thriller, totally. It’s also dull as heck. It did pique my interest For the entire 1h45min however
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsSpooky and surreal. You'll feel uncomfortable at times, but to me, original filmmaking.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis looking glass is trash waste of two hour and bad ending 0 stars if could
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsThe suspense and mystery are solid and the focus good, but the ending lacks the necessary twists and surprises to take it to the next level.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsCage earns it 3 stars but it is as bad as the ratings suggest. Superficial is the only way to define it. All the characters and plot superficial, very linear with no sub plots that are explored, camera on Nick Cage all the time the way most of his movies are. A predictible ending, Cage commits multiple felonies then gets in his truck and drives away like they ran out of money and had to end it as if running resolved anything.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsNot horrible but not good. Kind of a who cares. You think there will be some sinister reveal that the movie builds to. There is not.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsClassic Nicolas Cage's movie. Since 2000 he only makes mindless, weird movies with only reason to make wonderful memes. It's so sad cause Cage was once a good actor
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsAn interesting idea, unfortunately completely ruined by a lousy script and a very mediocre director. When the movie could actually end with a bang and make it worthwhile, it just receices a simple "Plop", which leaves you with the thought: WtF??? For this I had been watching Nicolas and Robin for nearly 2 hours?! Even I could have done a better directing job. 3 1/2 out of 10 points. P.S: When it comes to the actors and their performances Bill Bolender as the ex-owner of the motel is the only one who does a great job, and he only appears for a few minutes. The others are all extremely pale as if they were tired and just wanted to do the minimum to get their paychecks and leave.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsThis movie doesn't show the symbolic meanings because of the stupid story.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsA decent enough mystery flick, unfairly panned, but I see why. Bottom line is it does keep you guessing why all the secrecy in this small town and, we'll most of the mystery coming to light at the end, except for why everyone requests room number 10???. It is rather annoying though how cage just doesn't open his mouth to communicate with ANYBODY the whole time but I'm glad I gave this a try.
