Lost in Paris
audience Reviews
, 67% Audience Score- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsThough I'm no fan of physical comedy I found this movie delightful. Fiona Gordon, as a kind, hapless, innocent, calamity prone waif was so fun to watch. The dance scene in the restaurant was so unexpected it was, IMO, brilliant. She alone was reason enough to watch the movie twice. I literally LOL several times.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsThe film presents an audacious proposal and irreverent humor, characteristics that may appeal to those seeking something unconventional. Although the cast and characters lack a stronger emotional connection, with some of them feeling forced, the exaggeration and absurd situations in the film manage to elicit a few laughs. In short, it is an indie production that mixes interesting moments with others that lack greater depth, resulting in an experience that fluctuates between fun and disorderly.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is a gem of a film, hilarious and heartwarming and filled with brilliant choreography and gorgeous color-drenched cinematography. I've seen all of Fiona Gorden and Dominque Abel's films and you must too!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI cannot believe this has a 68% approval rating. Bad from minute 1 to minute 21. Holy moly. Just bad. Bad script. Bad acting. Not interesting. Nothing.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWhimsical, yes. A nice break from the banal
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA unique and wonderful film.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI LOVE THIS MOVIE! I am a huge fan of Gordon and Abel.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsSo trash the acting is awful. The plot is so weird. The grandma smashes the homeless guy in her granddaughters tent
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsFun film! We laughed at the old fashioned high jinx.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsLost In Paris is a lovely quirky comedy about a a woman who goes to Paris to look after her ageing aunt. When she arrives, the aunt is out and she goes for a look at the city. All sorts of completely sensible madness ensue from falling in the river twice to climbing the Eiffel Tower and a truly wonderful dance in a floating restaurant. THe acting and, indeed, the entire film is charming to an almost Amelie extent and I find it hard to figure who wouldn't enjoy it. Absolutely recommended for everyone and I have so tried not to reveal the details.
