It was better than we expected. The movie itself was pretty predictable but a fun watch. I enjoyed the storyline and the actors. The subject really interested me and I've never seen a movie explore rap and poetry this way. I always get a bit confused when I see Hana Mae Lee talk in a movie, to be honest. All I see is her Pitch Perfect character. She is a great actress though! I enjoyed the movie and it's an easy watch. If the subject interests you I would for sure recommend it :-)

Boring, predictable, and formulaic. Love Beats Rhymes is a mediocre hip-hop drama riddled with cliches.

She can’t act. Period. Everything you’ve seen before in music video but just worse now. Even some great poetry can’t save her acting. How was she given this role is beyond me. So awful.

This is my new fav lala land movie. A little predictable but hey! Feel good nonetheless
