- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars'Magazine Dreams' is a dark, uncomfortable and disturbing bodybuilder drama anchored by an excellent Jonathan Majors.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAmazing, absolutely amazing. Majors has talent that’s been lacking in Hollywood for a long time, and the cinematography is breathtaking.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat performance by Majors. Frankly, would we have seen this work had Marvel not dropped him? I don't know, but, letting Majors go was a significant loss to Marvel and a gain for Majors.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsThe Jonathans character did a really great job at interpreting emotions, felt really sorry for him and scared at the sametime.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAwesome performance by Jonathan Majors.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsJonathan Major’s performance is what holds this film together. Brilliant performance in a film that fails to give its audience what it needs, a committed storyline.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsi was deeply uncomfortable and deeply moved. phenomenal
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsAs a fan of both Majors and bodybuilding, I find myself torn. I wanted to love this movie with all of the buzz surrounding it, but I feel like the timeline jumped around a bit only to be discernible by his injuries. I also am unsure about Majors’ character: Is he just socially awkward or does he have a disability? Overall the movie isn’t bad and the acting is pretty good
