Um drama completo. Talvez hoje não o classifiquem bem, mas a história de Killian Maddox traz muito à se pensar nessa atual realidade voltada apenas para o corpo.

Weird, uncomfortable and entertaining. One of a kind movie.

Just mental. Can’t show the build up of a psychopath killer for 2 hours and then briefly show him becoming normal and ending the movie. Just sad

Magazine Dreams is a defeating watch. It does a fantastic job pulling you into the character Killian Maddox’s demons as you watch him slowly lose his mind with his obsession of becoming the greatest aspiring bodybuilder of his time. Johnathan Majors gives the greatest performance I’ve seen from him yet, I was not expecting to be frightened while watching him, he captures the rage in his character so beautifully. Each sequence his character goes through is explosive and is gorgeous to look at with the films cinematography. The first half of this film was very strong, sadly I can’t say the same for the last half as I felt puzzled from some of the decisions the movie takes. At certain points you can feel as if the movie loses its own purpose, but it all comes full circle in the end so I can highly recommend it

The only movie with something to say in this otherwise dismal year of 2025! Whoever was in charge of the soundtrack deserves an Oscar, captured the sense of the movie perfectly. Great writing from Elijah Bynum as well.

Must see, Oscar worthy performance by Jonathan Majors. It reminded me slightly of black swan, this was not just a film showcasing the dark side of bodybuilding but also showcasing mental health issues, social issues also. This movie makes you feel the pain of Killian. While watching it it’s impossible you don’t feel hurt like he is, the suffering due to his childhood trauma, his aspirations, mental health issues, ptsd and the pain he also suffers from his idol Brad. If you have a heart, if you have a passion for film and a passion for great acting then this movie is for you.

Great movie, very entertaining and had my eyes glued to the screen to see what happens next. Jonathan Majors did a wonderful job playing his character and the story progressed nicely. At moments it felt like the director didn’t know how he wanted the story to end, but this could’ve also been stylistically. Overall it was a very entertaining and interesting film.
