Magic Mike
audience Reviews
, 60% Audience Score- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsMagic Mike succeeds in grounding the stripper persona with real human emotions. However, thanks to a couple of obnoxious secondary characters, this film follows its main character down a sad path that feels unnecessarily pathetic.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsWhile this is a bit of voyuerism cinema, there is still a decent story in there.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 50 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTruely a Magical Experience, Channing Tatums Dance skills dont disappoint!!
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsmans be in this movie
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsI went in expecting nothing more than a guilty pleasure, and I was pleasantly surprised by the angle Soderbergh took, showing the gritty underbelly of an aging male stripper in a city that can be very cruel. The dances are certainly fun to watch but the entire experience left me feeling sad for everyone and the dreams that I - and the characters - know will never come to fruition, as so often happens in real life.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI honestly loved and adored almost everything about this, the style and direction were on point. The reason its almost is that Alex Pettyfer and Cody Horn, playing the 2nd lead and the love interest respectively, give 2 of the worst film performances of all time by actors in a great movie. They have absolutely no clue what they are doing.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsI was bored out of my mind. Want my money back.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsHow ever did they get McConaughey to do this part?? Except for Tatum, the dancers were embarrassing and the screaming women annoying and degrading. But I stuck it out just to watch Tatum.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsSolid flick. Filled with well-known actors (even Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias, my favorite comedian, has a small role in it). Seriously though, what's up with the sepia filter overuse on every single outdoor scene?
