Margin Call

It's a well acted drama full of well known actors inspired by the 2008 stock market crash.

Great acting but wow, I've never watched a slower movie in my life. Like a big pile of tomatoes on a nothing burger.

What a cast. When you put this many high profile actors on a screen, it’s either gunna be brilliant or disastrous. This movie is the former. Margin Call seemed like a boring plot when I decided to watch it but it held my attention throughout. Spacey owns the screen when he’s on and you can thoroughly feel the magnitude of the situation at hand. Great movie.

Solid acting, solid story. Dialogue tdeals well with a complicated subject. Jeremy Irons, Stanley Tucci and Paul Bettany are stand-outs.

Trying to humanize the immense greed that gave way to the housing crash is a commendable, but unspiritual and naive cause.

An excellent movie about the underbelly of the financial system. Many strong performances in the high caliber cast. Interesting that many viewers were not impressed. And then we wonder how the founder of an electric car company with poorly assembled vehicles has become the richest person in the history of the planet.

The writing is poor. Acting is fine, but it makes for a clunky, boring ride. The ending is also very unsatisfying.

Its alright, a lot of exciting whites (not Spacey) in this, but it is hard to really relate or care about the procedure in this. It's filmed and performed well but its just dry.

You want see the reaction from a bank finding out that their stock is worthless and their about to go bellied up.....I sure did and I enjoyed a good portion of this surprisingly good flick.

Dialogue was so vague. Made the movie an absolute bore. There were a few insightful existential critiques on the human nature behind the top tier of the financial market. However it’s not worth the majority of ones time.
