Marked Men: Rule + Shaw

I really enjoyed this book. Not sure why companies buy books and completely change them. The motivations in the book were made complete sense and made for a cute interesting story. In the movie however the characters actions make no sense at all. Rule’s character was completely destroyed in this adaptation.

Absolutely loved this movie as much as the book! While events don’t unfold in exactly the same way, the characters had so much chemistry and created a world that you wanted to be a part of! Love Shaw and Rule ❤️ Look forward to a sequel!!

I really really loved this movie. The actors made me absolutely love their characters. Seeing chase stokes in this role was honestly amazing! It’s a diverse character for him & he made me fall in love with Rule. This is a must see.. I bought it and watch it on rotation!! Well done 😍

I probably really would’ve like this movie when I was 14. The story is straight out of the Wattpad 2013 handbook: the names, the angst, the manufactured dark backstory for the MMC, the cliche bff that does nothing other than live for the FMC to return home, and the characters that sound like they just learned how to cuss. I really wanted to like the movie if only to honor younger me, but older me was disappointed. For a 1.5 hour movie, it was watchable and I only picked up my phone a couple times. The movie writers could’ve used the books as a jumping off point and written the script with more substance. Perhaps my biggest gripe with the movie is its lack of using Alexander Ludwig to his fullest potential.

I have loved this book series since it first came out and was super excited for this… and I understand that they cannot include every detail of a book into the movie… but it seems like the writers only read the first few pages and said screw it! It was absolutely horrible… added characters and a secondary storyline that completely destroyed the primary storyline. Who is JASPER??? And spray painting buildings…🤨 Really guys??? Gage not being a stalker and Shaw giving him another chance ??? If I could rate NO STARS I would. The only thing I liked about movie was the choice of actor for Rome. You get a 1/2 star for that…

Great adaptation of a much beloved series.

The book series Marked Men has always held a warm place in my heart. Usually when a book is turned into a movie, it's not going to be exactly like the book and I accept that.. However, this was a complete and utterly different story line. All of the things that I love about this book series were no where to be seen on screen.

I loved this movie. Being a huge fan of the books, I was so happy with how the adaptation brought these characters to life. Definitely a must watch, the romance, the comedy, and the drama were all top notch!

Absolutely loved it! Definitely brought Rule and Shaw to life from on of my favorite books. Now I can’t wait for Jet and Ayden’s turn!
