Funniest dog movie of all time. Best thing ever made!

Uma família sempre fica mais completa quando tem um pet para chamar de membro do clã. Nesta deliciosa comédia dramática tal premissa funciona de maneira caótica mas sem deixar de trazer emoção e alegria ao cinéfilo mais racional. Recomendo as duas experiências.

I cried so many times because I am imagining That would be me looking at my dog for the final time And sometimes you just gotta care for a friend that you know and actually care about that person instead of Being a jerk to them.

This movie is a lovely story of Jennifer (Jennifer Aniston) and John (Owen Wilson) who start their family by adopting a poppy. The unexpected is that this poppy was a little bit more energetic than his brothers and sisters, and because of this, there are several comic moments. Being a romantic comedy, the audience knows what to expect - it's hard to be surprised. Still, the movie surprises with the couple having a child, even when I wasn't expecting to see it anymore; then several! :-) Another surprising element (and very well interpreted) is the natural aspect of the story: the ups and downs of marriage, the moments of tension, and those of relaxation, joy and sadness. However, despite all these, I had a good laugh from the beginning to the end as if these moments were well 'calculated' and 'distributed' throughout the movie. It's a great movie for children, animal lovers, and families. Enjoy it!

Very delicate movie. Is not exactly Bergman, but it does its job quite good. It is the story of a couple going through life, and at the beginning of their merried life got a dog. If you do not cry at the end, you are not a human being.

This is a movie that I am more complex feeling about than most. On the one hand the sub-genre this film occupies is one I have much disdain for but on the other this is one of the films that started said sub genre, and it has something about it I just cant seem to scratch. This movie is very predictable which is to be expected as all of these dog-centric drama comedy's all follow roughly the same plot. Movies like A Dogs Purpose Turner and Hooch and this one all relay and the same tired tropes and only get people in the seats by killing a dog at the end. However this one is a bit special, on the one hand this movie is much more drama than comedy which I did not expect and is a welcome change of pace. Owen Wilson does a good job as always as did Jennifer Anniston, the plot while predictable was still heartfelt and much less about the dog than one might expect. This is a movie I recommend to people but struggle to see myself watching again any time soon.
