What a funny little movie. The best part of the movie is the last 30 minutes. Tim Treakle

With such a great cast you'd expect at least one moment of fun or joy but even Susan Sarandon can't save such terrible torturous dialogue - not to mention a super ridiculous premise even for a genre in which it's possible to suspend disbelief to allow a movie star to fall in love with a book store owner. This is genuinely one of the worst movies I've managed to stay awake through - and that was only cause I had gastro and couldn't sleep. Save yourself an hour an a half of tedium and go and do your laundry - you'll feel cleaner.

The critics are way too harsh! Aside from the brilliant Ruth B. Singing the theme song, William H. Macy and Susan Sarandon steal the show! A poignant and clever film about how two middle aged couples grapple with aging and stagnating relationships. As their respective children contemplate entering into marriage, parents impart wisdom based on their own personal experiences. I would definitely recommend it!!

¡Cuánto talento desperdiciado! El guión es un espanto; el argumento es decadente... Es una agonía ver esta película.

I could not believe how such good actors gave such bad performances.
