Meet the Robinsons

, 74% Audience Score- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsI really liked this movie and it's message, a lot more than expected (I don't think I need to speak on the good parts), but there's one thing bringing it down: everything is too in your face. The message is outright stated multiple times in the movie (although how it was shown was pretty well done) and the comedy is thrown at you all at once with little time to breath (likewise most of the jokes are great but they're too often). The first and final parts of the movie had me feeling like I could consider it a favorite, but the middle was too much. Ironically this leads to the literal namesake of the movie being it's worst flaw: "Meet the Robinsons." Too many of them are relegated to jokes for us to actually get attached to them. The villain was actually a pretty good comic relief, but he doesn't feel as much like one when basically every other character is comic relief as well. I feel like a good fix they could've done would be to tone down the comedy a bit during the whole "Meet the Robinsons" portion and even cut some of the scenes or heck even characters in order to focus more on the villain and allow comedy to openly breathe, the scenes with the Robinsons could've been more heartfelt if there was less to deal with. I'm happy with how the movie turned out but I do think it could've been better.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is one of the most inspiring, and painfully underrated, disney movies ever! It feels more like a Pixar!! The animation is gorgeous, and it the story is really sweet. I once saw a quote that said "Failure is not the opposite of success, it's a part of it." This movie BEAUTIFULLY illustrates that point!
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsI love this one. Definitely one of Disney's most underrate films. Even I forgot about this one, but watching it reminded me of how great it was. Hell, I'm watching it right now! It's one of my favourite Disney Films. Although it breaks most of the rules of time travel (which is the one thing that always bothers me) but it's highly creative and I just love the way it's made. Anybody who loves Disney films should watch this.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA really good movie, even better than the movies that come out today, it's simply art - from the characters to the film's villain.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsOne of the most underrated pieces of storytelling. Meet the Robinson is debatably a good film considering it's many mixed opinions
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe first 3/4 of the movie was absolute incoherent, annoying nonsense. The last 15 minutes kept it from being one of the worst movies I have ever seen. (18%)
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsUnderrated! So much heart is put into this movie. Yes, it may be cliché at times and "keep moving forward" isn't always realistic, but that's besides the point. You cannot help but feel good which I think is what you want out of a watching a movie especially an animated one for kids. That being said, it still portrays big themes like childhood trauma and how it affects our present and even our future if not dealt with properly all in a way that is child suitable.
