Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One

my favorite of the series so far. most suspenseful of the series.

Tom cruise never disappoints. Rating: 8.7/10

"Dead Reckoning" delivers exactly what you’d expect from a Mission: Impossible movie — and that’s a good thing. Tom Cruise is once again in peak Tom form, sprinting, shouting dramatically, pulling off jaw-dropping stunts, and somehow still looking younger than me (and I’m in my 40s!). You get it all: exotic locations, diabolical political intrigue, high-speed car chases, layers of mystery, a touch of tragedy and romance, and action by the truckload. The soundtrack is a standout too, melodically playing off the mood of the slower scenes and ramping up the tension when needed. Bring on the Final Reckoning — though honestly, between you and me, I wouldn’t be surprised if Cruise's Ethan Hunt is still pulling off stunts in his 90s, racing down a mountain in a turbo-charged wheelchair, saving the world.

Disappointing, the weakest MI since 2. Also the first MI since 2 that feels stretched too long, perhaps it would have worked better as one film instead of a part one and two. Weak dialogue and poor action, especially for a MI film, bring it down Also really sucks that Ilsa is killed and by a really boring weak villian! Ranking of the MI films 1. Fallout (2018) 10/10 2. This is a great movie. It made me wanna go see movies again in theaters love the acting love the story plot!!

Could have gotten five stars but I hate waiting for sequels

The film is 2 hours and 43 minutes long. But honestly, it still seemed short for this action and adventure show in the most accurate and electrifying measure imaginable.

This is movie is absolutely incredible. Between this and Top Gun: Maverick, Cruise brings everything that is great about action in Cinema. This ain’t just a movie, it’s a damn experience. Every director, actor, script writer… Take Notes and dare to compete. Part 2 can’t get here soon enough.

AMAZING MOVIE! Tom cruise does it again, with incredible stunts, effects, plot, and all together one of the best action movies of the year. It compares well to the rest of the series' awesomeness, however not as good as fallout.
