- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsGreat soundtrack and a couple of charming side characters. Other than that, there’s not much to praise. it feels like an uninspired blend of Pocahontas and Frozen.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSome of the best movies by Disney - I would deem it superior to movies like Frozen. Examples of how great the movie is the casting with Auli'i Cravalho portraying Moana & the Rock portraying Maui (the only times a big star is worth being in the role). Also, the characters were brilliant with Moana following where her heart is going encouraged by her Grandma to save lands & Maui with tattoos coming to life, he was funny - yeah, it had funny moments. Another part of it is the songs which have motivation which you would love to sing along to - you know Lin Manuel Miranda is some of the best music makers in the movie industry. All the songs like "How Far I'll Go", "You're Welcome" & "Shiny" May be my favourite CGI Disney movie not by Pixar.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMoana was my entire Teenager-Hood back then. The movie came out when I was 15 I am now 23 and enjoy the movie still to this day. I will never forget these early days of Disney when they made movies from the heart instead of for the profit. Moana, Princess and the frog, Tangled, Brother Bear.. Lilo and stitch.. etc all movies had such good storylines and representation of the culture in the countries/areas they took place in. I can't wait to see Moana 2, I'm sure it'll be great. 😊
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsGenuinely amazing. Several years later and it is still one of the best movies Disney has ever produced.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsMoana is a strong four-star animated adventure that I really enjoyed. With its breathtaking animation, inspiring protagonist, and unforgettable music, it delivers a powerful and emotionally uplifting journey. Moana's determination and courage shine, and her dynamic with Maui brings humor and heart. A beautifully crafted Disney film filled with magic, exploration, and stunning visuals!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSuch an awesome musical!!!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt's not bad but I found it pretty forgettable, most of the movie was singing moments which really takes away from any cute or fun story they were trying to tell. Still somewhat entertaining and world, but it feels like they used singing parts just to make up for a short script to add runtime.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsOne of Disney’s more successful recent princess vehicles.
