My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3
audience Reviews
, 71% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI Really enjoyed this movie. It added something new to the story, a brother, but it was the affirmation of family love and humor that made me smile. Greece was beautiful, and the fact that they finally got back to their homeland with Father’s ashes was so heartwarming. I was a little doubtful of a third movie but so glad I watched it…OPA!!!🇬🇷
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsWould recommend for a flight to Greece, but don't get your hopes up about Greece after watching this movie.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsTerrible movie. Politically motivated (migration). And no real plot. The last 15 minutes was a grinding to get through. What a shame.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsIs the worst one, there is no story. It's not even funny (it's a bit too forced). There are too much things happening at the same time, a lot of scenes don't add to the story. It just makes no sense, which makes it very hard to stay in the movie.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsUnfortunately, one of the worst movies I have seen for quite a while. It's disappointing that the trilogy ended on such a boring dud. The charm and lovable family from the first two films become incredibly boring in this film. The amount of talent for acting took a major backseat. Vardalos and Corbett seem uninspired and kind of just moving along as a couple in this film. Sadly, I can't recommend this film to anyone. Stick with the other two installments.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsThe story’s tapped out, leaving nothing but a lazy trip to Greece to rehash the same tired jokes.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe latest installment in the beloved series, “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3,” unfortunately falls flat. The film begins by implying that the family’s aged matriarch is suffering from Alzheimer’s, an issue that could have been explored with depth and sensitivity. Instead, the writers choose to gloss over it, leaving viewers with an uncomfortable and unresolved narrative thread that diminishes the emotional stakes. Things take a downturn from there. While Melina Kotselou delivers an outstanding performance as Victory, effectively stealing the spotlight during her introduction at the Athens airport, her vibrant comedic presence highlights just how lacking the rest of the film is. When Kotselou is not on screen, the film tends to drag, leaving one feeling frustrated and unengaged. The portrayal of Greece feels overly idealized, resembling a glossy travel brochure rather than a genuine reflection of the culture and its people. In comparison to the original film, which offered a mild dose of entertainment balanced with heart, this sequel lacks the charm and depth that made its predecessor enjoyable. Instead, it leans heavily into immigrant stereotypes and relies on stock characters, making it a disappointing experience for viewers who have grown weary of such clichés. Ultimately, “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3” misses the mark, offering more schlock than substance. For those familiar with the series, this entry is likely to feel like a letdown rather than a joyful reunion with beloved characters.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsSayang oras. Oks un pinakita ang kulturang Greek sa pagpunta nila sa Greece pero naghahanap ako ng bago sa kwento, Na enjoy ko un pinaka una, lumaylay sa pangalawa pero mukang dapat itigil na sa pangatlo.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI thought this film is really well made and the score is a bonus. You really feel like you are part of their family. I love this one ! They definitely put some soul into it !
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsPeople love to be dramatic online, but I can say with a genuine heart that this is the worst movie I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s almost as if somebody lost a bet, and their punishment was to make a movie that's goal was to cringe their audience to death. Not only did I not laugh in this movie one single time, but I’m starting to question as to whether I even smiled *a single time*. The needless side characters sprinkled in contain the worst script writing and acting combination you’re ever going to find. The angsty teen girl and “Victory” character are the height of unwatchable.
