Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult
audience Reviews
, 53% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsNowadays, these old and more than sometimes forgotten movies are better than everything after the 21th century.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt has it's moments, but there is a significant step down in quality compared to the first 2.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThere are so many laughs in this one that you can forgive the occasional misfire. Outside of OJ Simpson, who sucked in all of them, the casting is great. Nielsen is a legend and he delivers as usual. I think this is more than worthy of being compared to previous chapters in series.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsReleased just one month before OJ Simpson absolutely didn’t kill his wife, this final installment in the series is still pretty decent because of the quick gags. Watched on DVD.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis movie is pure gold if you take it for what it is. It’s hits on all cylinders. Subjectively it should score much higher. It’s one of the best of its class.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsDefinitely not as good as the first two installments, and a step back from its superior sequel. However, there are a few original quips, and the movie parodies are funny. As usual, Leslie Nielsen and Priscilla Presley give the biggest push, although other cast members can be funny as well.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIn my opinion, the movie uses very good camera and audio visual equipment and the crew members and the filmmakers have played their roles very well. I really liked it.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsFor some reason the opening sequence made me laugh so hard. Other than that, more or less same amount of laughs as the previous movie.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars'Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult' is the weakest of the trilogy, though fair amusement is still produced. Leslie Nielsen is so good in the lead role that I don't think it's really possible for these films to drag, at least alongside the decent gags and short run time. Admittedly this third entry does meander a tad, though my interest in events never waned into negative territory. The ending is the strongest part, that facepalm scene (which I knew of before) is gold. Overall, this is a good franchise. I'm quite looking forward to hopefully checking out Liam Neeson in the 2025 remake, as long as the writing is suitable I think he can absolutely make it work.
