Natural Selection

Love this movie so much

Trying to communicate a good message but overall a boring movie.

I’m sure on paper natural selection looked interesting. It has good morals at the end and an interesting story. But the movie itself is poorly made. It’s extremely slow and boring. The script and acting are bland and the whole movie feels cheap. It’s a low budget film and it shows. The movie had some potential to be something meaningful towards the end but none of it really comes together.

Did anyone else notice that the kid that was shot in the opening scene was the Director? Its almost as if he's warning us. "This movie is so bad even I wanted to die after making it".

Tries so hard to be dramatic and profound. There are no stakes, the characters are bland, and the pacing is a slow crawl. Just plain boring and visually uninteresting. Truly a movie where nothing happens.

I really liked the plot and pace of this movie, but felt that the dialogue was a bit awkward and at times clumsy. Still, I did appreciate this movie and would consider recommending it to friends looking for a more serious plot and subject matter. It is a shame that the dialogue is as awkward as it is, as I personally think the movie may have done much better if just the dialogue alone was fixed up a bit

I didn't care much for this movie. It was overly sentimental at times. The dialogue was good though. Definitely not a "mood" film.

Every line said in the movie is followed by a 10 second delay making is so awkward it gives me anxiety. Plot is really good... such a shame that the movie is really really awkward. I know I'm repeating myself but it's so awkward its terrible. I wouldn't recommend the movie just based on the awkwardness.

Arrogant, pretentious, slow-paced, and sloppy. Natural Selection is an embarrassing film hemmed by embarrassing acting.

Painfully slow. The only reason to endure this film is to watch Ryan Munzert in the part of Indrid, and try to decide if he has the makings of a great actor or if he just is a bitter young sociopath playing himself.
