Overall a good film, still not the heights of the best of the series. A bit overly long when some of the plot could easily have been cut. Good action and I liked the ending although controversial.

I still prefer Pierce Brosnan, my age of James Bond. Shameless plug: Matthew Macfadyen

I Love Bond, Excellent story line

Disappointing final Bond movie from Daniel Craig, probably his worst. The villain was bland as was the heroine and Daniel Craig seemed to welcome the end. All been done before and done better.

The movie maintains a strong narrative flow, with visually impressive effects that are slightly exaggerated, as is common in this type of action film. The ending delivers a spectacular conclusion, marking a grand finale for this phase of 007. I enjoyed every minute from start to finish.

I do prefer a “weak” entry of the old 007 series than any of the Craig’s era movies. Thank, God, It’s over. For me, the “classy Bond age” ended when Pierce Brosnam was booted out (his words) from the franchise.

Easily the weakest of the Craig era movies. He is still the definitive James Bond, but this was a poor send off. Gone was the gritty, lean storytelling and pacing of Casino Royale or Skyfall. The plot felt as if it was made up along the way (the whole Spectre conspiracy was stale by the end of the last film) and the return, albeit less pervasively of the one-liner quips and gadgets that had once turned the franchise into a camp cliche, were unwelcome. One a positive note, the casting was great. But otherwise a let down. Pity.
