One of Roger Corman's many late fifties sci-fi drive in pieces, this film's plot is one of the "aliens need our bodily fluids" type movies that actually does it pretty uniquely. The dialogue is laughable and the cheapness pours out of every frame, but it's not quite as ludicrously enjoyable as Attack of the Crab Monsters.

Is it a good movie? Not necessarily, but it's not as poorly done like some of Corman's other work. The characters hold up on their own, and can be taken seriously. The plot is interesting enough, and flows smoothly. The last 10-minutes go into more goofy-territory, but it ends the film with some fun moments.

A economical way of showing an alien is by just making an actor roll his eyes up, just like in this movie. Alien vampire done Roger Corman style. An entertaining flick, low budget and doesn't really use that much special effects. A lot of deaths but not a lot of blood. Recommended!

Look the aliens look just like humans with white eye contacts. Really after about 30 minutes I lost interest and kept daydreaming about other things I would rather be doing. Acting wasn't horrible but the story was dull and the monster wasn't interesting.

Another Roger Corman/Charles B. Griffith gem. If you've ever seen Jim Wynorski's remake, everything great about that flick (with the exception of Traci Lords in a shiny bikini) is already here. This was originally released as part of a double bill with "Attack of the Crab Monsters" which is unimaginably awesome.

Cheap and cheerful sci-fi from Roger Corman sees Paul Birch as a vampiric alien. Dick Miller cameos as a vacuum cleaner salesman.

Nothing better than a Roger Corman movie on a Sunday afternoon. This is one of the best.

This movie came from the Roger Corman's Triple feature collection, The opening of this film must have created quite a stir when shown in the Drive In's around 1958. Bet a few cars started up and headed home. A alien comes to earth as a man with no eyes to collect blood for his planet. Very well done for 1958. 3 1/2 stars. 3-22-13

Smarter and with a better script/director than your usual horror movie. This would actually hold up well against the best of the Twilight Zone episodes.
