Offering to the Storm

, 35% Audience Score- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsOnce the big mystery is revealed in the "Legacy of the Bones", the only way to sustain this story is to extend it far beyond logic and reasonability. It's simply disappointing.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThe trilogy could offer more. The policewoman cries incessantly, she doesn't convey any credibility. Doesn't take the necessary actions, making the story weak.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsIt's the third and final part of Baztan trilogy. It's the worst of the three. The first one, "The Invisible Guardian", was barely ok. The second one, " The Legacy Of The Bones", was actually pretty good. This final installment was a big disappointment. As with the previous two parts, the same problem persisted with the main protagonist -Amaia- who is the lead detective. She is unconvincing, uncharismatic, incompetent, whiney, unlikeable, and annoying. The ending was not good and it ruined the great progress and plot development made in the second part. That said, as with the previous two parts, the cinematography is good.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsOnce again, the same problems that have plagued this trilogy from the beginning are at work here, perhaps to a greater degree – too many unnecessary things that distract from the main narrative and drag out the run time, as well as making things more difficult to follow than they need to be -- but it also has the same positives: it's a well-acted, nicely filmed continuation of a grim mystery that incorporates local folklore. ‘Offering to The Storm' sets out to connect all three films with each other and wrap up Inspector Salazar's story, and whilst it manages to do that, it doesn't do it very efficiently and just isn't succinct enough to have the impact it wants to have, not to mention that the "big reveal" and solution to the whole mess is very underwhelming, predictable and obvious. At the end of the day, The Baztán Trilogy is a perfectly decent time-waster that obviously wants to be so much more than it ultimately is.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe story was great, but it dragged on. And the main character annoyed me to no end. She lost it way too many times. And then she just stood there with eyes bulging and mouth open instead of intervening. Sorry, that's a shoddy reaction for someone trained by the FBI to think on their feet. Didn't seem real to me. And her deductive reasoning was ridiculous, like make it up as she went along. "He shed tears indicting he didn't want to kill himself." No, gag reflux, when people vomit intensely their eyes water. Just stupid The ending was a little predictable. It had potential, but failed.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsOverall, it's a good end to a cracking trilogy, with some moments of real emotion and tension that are the perfect development from the first two movies. The relationship between Salazar and Markina takes an eye-rolling shift, that doesn't serve to build the story to the intense ending it deserves. Still some very predictable plot developments, but they don't take away from the rich tapestry of the story across all three movies
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsGreat story. She had a Faithful handsome husband and a cute baby. But she was keep cheating on her husband. Poor James character. Till the end he did not know this. My western friend said that what a cute one side love. I said that This is why ur mom is fucking strangers when your dad away for job. Crazy western culture. No offence but it is true. The movie was keep playing above two and half hour. It could be one and half hour with more character twist.
