Olaf's Frozen Adventure
audience Reviews
, 43% Audience Score- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThe beloved mega franchise Frozen, brought to life by Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Animation, has returned with its much-anticipated sequel, Frozen II. This follow-up film matches the magic of its predecessor, if not surpassing it. While the music may not linger in your mind as long as the original soundtrack, it still boasts memorable and catchy tunes that promise to entertain. The plot unfolds an epic journey led by Queen Elsa, who is drawn by a mysterious voice, ultimately guiding her to discover a lost community. New characters like Ryder and Honeymaren enrich the story, and we are treated to a delightful musical number featuring Kristoff and Sven—an unexpected yet welcome addition that fans never knew they needed, but now can't get enough of. It’s a catchy tune that stays with you long after watching. Bruni, the adorable fire lizard, joins the ensemble as one of the charming new characters, adding a playful touch to the adventure. Anna embarks on her own quest to find her sister, further solidifying the powerful bond between these two sisters. Olaf remains a standout character, delivering one of the most poignant moments in animation that is sure to tug at your heartstrings, bringing tears to your eyes—thankfully, the story offers a resolution before it becomes too heartbreaking. With remarkable new characters, an engaging storyline, and an exciting addition to the Disney animation legacy, Frozen II is a true triumph. Additionally, the Frozen franchise has expanded with a wealth of merchandise, LEGO sets, short films, and Olaf specials that cleverly integrate various Disney characters into Olaf’s whimsical tales. Disney has done an exceptional job with this franchise, and I wholeheartedly recommend exploring all things Frozen to fully enjoy the magic they bring to the screen.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsCute little movie with amazing songs and great cultural references to Norwegian culture❤️🇳🇴
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsYes, of course they would put it in a Disney film shown at the cinemas, Frozen is Disney's most popular series, Coco is made by Pixar which is owned by Disney, but apart from the obvious, this short film was really beyond my expectations, especially how they actually made songs, and Disney is famous for their songs.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIts a realy cool way to see christmas at arendelle
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsBeautiful Christmas special. I haven't seen an american Christmas special of such quality in a while. The songs are beautiful, up to the franchise. I loved the whole sequence of Olaf visiting the families, and the fact that they made reference to traditions from several different cultures. The final part was very emotional. I liked this special more than the movie.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsI thought this was going to be a full movie, but it is just a short story. Then it has several other short stories of popular Disney characters after it. Which I did not care for or to see. Was very disappointed in this purchase. The Olaf short was really funny though, but would have been better as a full film.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsCharming Christmas special that while a poor choice for a short film, makes nice viewing during the holidays. The cast is back in fine form while the songs are charming. In addition, the story of Olaf trying to give Anna and Elsa a good Christmas is heartwarming. Overall, a nice addition to any Christmas rotation.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsA relatively cute short for the Frozen desperate. It's 24 minutes long but overflowing with 5 songs - it's a bit much. Some of the songs and sentiments are cute but the Frozen franchise doesn't understand quality over quantity. I still mii oh stay feel bad for Kristoff.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsToo long, too boring. Forgettable songs.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsI was so disappointed. I loved Frozen and like the Olaf character, but this featurette was true to neither the movie nor the character. The movie was mean-spirited and cynical - Olaf sneers at children "decorating the corpse of a tree", and generally makes mean jokes. Kristoff has lost the fun, almost magical connection to his reindeer so we can laugh at how stupid he is when the reindeer tries to communicate. The songs were long and boring. It was just a mean production.
