One of Them Days

If it weren’t for relying on Keke Palmer and SZA’s terrifically shared charisma as the sole humorous foundation with a sporadically working screenplay, then this societally bitten buddy comedy routine would be seen more ridiculously absent-minded and unlikeable by disengagement. (B-)

A great buddy comedy with a touch of reality stirred in. I loved the energy between SZA and Keke Plamer. They bring a chemistry to the sceen that not a lot of actors would be able to pull off. The writing was out of the box realistic. Some of the story would omly happen in a movie like this but the actual diaolouge was never lacking. I enjoyed the directing and thought all actors brought their A game. I hope this helps birng back this style of movie because I love watching a friendship go through the ringer and come back stronger than ever.

I was skeptical about this film being just another "best-buddy" film. I wasn't familiar with CZA's acting skills but love, love, love me some Keke Palmer! Well I was beyond inpressed with Both Keke and Cza's performance and ability to make me laugh for hours. What really made the film besides these two leading actresses was the very fresh story and how it flowed from one crazy experience to another. Fresh story and great acting......That does say "Absolute Must See" to me. Get ready to laugh, to cry, to get mad and every other emotion that this movie digs up. You will experience it all if you allow it. This has become one of my favorite movies and will watch it over and over for years. How's that for FRESH!

I laughed so much! The soundtrack is amazing. Definitely a movie worth rewatching.

The most mid, normie thing I've ever seen

I wanted to like this movie so badly with keke and sza. I thought it was going to be a genuine comedy not like a high school level joke comedy. I wish the jokes were way funnier. I feel like I laughed out loud maybe once and I’m very easy to make laugh. It also is really slow. It feels so long, and I don’t feel like urgency that the plot is trying to bring at all. If you have anything that HELPS you laugh, I suggest using it for this or definitely watch with friends in a silly mood only lol. I made this account just to write this review. I’m still thinking about it days later. As a google review said, I feel like I’m in an alternate universe that this has this high of ratings?!

This was one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. Kiki Palmer is a good actress and SZA just has a nice ass. She’s a terrible actress.

Like a female version of Friday, only more depressing because of the context. Lovable characters.

One of Them Days is easily one of this year’s standout comedies. At the heart of this film is the relationship and chemistry between Keke Palmer and SZA. For SZA’s first major acting role, she holds her own really well and complements Keke Palmer's character without needing to rely on her. She comes off very natural and seems like she’s somewhat playing a version of herself. Set against an authentic and refreshing South LA backdrop, the story feels rooted in real life. The production design and on-location sets, work to add personality and realism to each scene. This allows the comedy to have more weight and hit even harder. The journey is certainly the focus here. A journey full of hilarious, frustrating, and surprisingly relatable moments leaving you wanting more.
