A fledgling Satanist (Bowser) gets the chance to meet his idol, Bartok the Great (Jeffrey Combs). And what do they say about meeting your heroes? Heartfelt low budget effort full of many humorous moments. I was not a fan of Bowser's decision to give his character an irritating speech pattern. He's supposed to be autistic but I'm not sure it's a fair portrayal of the condition. The film is whimsical and sincere. I look forward to the director's next, hopefully stronger, effort. Certainly could be a cult film.

This movie will be one of my guilty pleasure pleasures it’s sooo much better than I thought it would be I know not would be a campy B movie and I’d get some laughs but me and my brother loved the damn thing and it has such a tight script barely and plot holes I hope to see a part two the cast did a great job and they should be proud anyone should give it a chance it time well spent

As someone who very much enjoyed the original shorts, I went into this with my only worry being if the bit would translate to a feature length movie without getting old, luckily thanks to a delightful plot, a great cast, a lot of added depth to Onyx, and wet puppets it not only didn't get old, but instead left me wanting more of the Fortuitous one.

I hope Andrew has more than just Onyx jokes, they do get a little old.

This movie was delightful and held my attention. It was exactly as ambitious as it needed to be to be entertaining without becoming pretentious or self-indulgent. The practical effects were exceptionally well-executed.

Every bit as silly and delightful as you think it's gonna be, but quite a bit smarter and with a genuine love for the genre. Andrew Bowser has manifested this universe for years now, and it was beautiful to see it come to life on the big screen. Fun, funny, great practical effects, well built characters, good acting, and a full story with room for a sequel. Critics need to catch up to the audience. It's a great film.
