Operation Seawolf provides a solid war film that ventures away from the usual point of view, giving us a complicated protagonist who Lundgren provides a weary gravitas.

...more of a war drama than anything else and war film aficionados should be happy with this one, however the general viewing public may get a little bored.

Operation Seawolf delivers a disappointingly mediocre film wrapped in a frustratingly tone-deaf approach to its subject matter.

Too often Operation Seawolf feels dead in the water just waiting for some pockets of excitement and intrigue that never come. There’s some potential with the story, but it washes away far too quickly.

May be a bit too ambitious for its budget, but it's well worth seeking out for anyone with a rooting interest in Dolph Lundgren.
