Orbiter 9

These stories skimp on breathless adventure and cosmic detours; instead, they're all about surviving. Orbiter 9 suggests if you have to rough it out in space, do it with someone you love.

There seems to be a kind of renaissance in space exploration in film and television at the moment. Orbiter 9 is a nice addition to this canon of films, but it doesn't really add that much to the conversation.

Orbiter 9 starts as a compelling sci-fi piece, then the plot kicks in and it becomes dull. It's a shame because the story has the heft to carry a better movie but it's ultimately another misfire for Netflix.
