Massively underrated movie. Good story, great acting from Casey Afflek and Christian Bale, well worth a watch.

Great build and performances all around

Anyone who says this movie is too slow or boring, this is a movie that actually makes you think and feel. Go back to watching stupid ass Marvel/DC films that don't require any of that 🙂

A stoic, backwoods modern Western. A slight infusion of more action might've done it well, but I enjoyed it's characters, setting and tone. Christian Bale's character has some memorable flashes of nobility. Worth seeing for mature male audience ok with a slow burn Appalachian tragedy.

Underrated movie. Loads of talent.

Ok wait were we all watching the same movie?! I love this movie, it is so underrated. They are all amazing and I think the story is great. I have watched 4 times now and will re watch again.
