Paris Can Wait
audience Reviews
, 38% Audience Score- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt preceded Emily in Paris, but is in a similar vein; American woman goes to France and gets to learn about life in France with the help of a Frenchman. The romantic side is subordinate to what seems to be a tour of expensive hotels and restaurants. The acting is good, but the film lacks anything much of a plot.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsDiane Lane plays another adulterer in picturesque France. The only role she gets. Not worth the time.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsContinuous cliche of the French - both culture and inhabitants. Predictable, boring and a dreadful waste of time. We couldn't get past the first 25 minutes...even that was just to give Baldwin a chance.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe was terribly boring and a waste of time.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWife and I were bored 15 minutes in and I can't believe we stuck with it. Kinda trusted Diane Lane or the story to come to life, but grew increasingly frustrated as that failed to happen. When the credits popped up on the screen we were surprised that THAT was the story, but relieved it was over.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsWhat was the purpose? It didn't answer any questions. Instead, it left me with a lot of questions. Why was the business associate broke? Why was he driving her all over? Why didn't the husband show up? What was up with the ending? Why was she taking all the pictures all the time? The camera clicking was the most annoying sound ever. Terrible! This movie isn't even Hallmark worthy. It's definitely giving Tubi vibes.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsI love Diane Lane, and I was curious enough to continue watching, as I love romance and seeing what would happen to improve her life. However, I really disliked the Frenchman. He seemed kinda creepy and bossy to me, and the thought of them kissing made me cringe. No chemistry there, it sort of ruined it, as the scenery and food and premise I liked.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI can't wait to move to southern France with my Frenchman for the same reasons! European life is more my style!!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt's kinda watchable...
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsOk, I love France, but i didn't expert to watch 1 1/2 jours of a frustrated lonely chainsmoking French man bragging about wind and dood while a flat character is sitting on the order side of the table. Many sceneries are not shot as they say they are. Alain, I love France, but hated this cheap movie.
