Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!

It's fine, just fine. But as a pokemon fan, having incineroar in a region with Johto legendary and all of a sudden being in Kanto 10 seconds later proves to me this movie is a weird Mish mash of franchises

I mean, Piplup is my favorite Pokemon ever, so yeah

Better to think of it as a reboot of Ash's journey and not a remake, this did a good job to get younger kids into Pokemon. Definitely some things I didn't like, especially with Pikachu near the end, but the rest of the movie is fine.

Why does this exist, it's not canon and not that good tbh

This is a boring and lazy retread of the first episode in the anime but that includes a moment that is so bafflingly terrible that it’s actually insulting to Pokemon fans

The Bored Rushing Of This Summary Of Ash Tediously Becoming A Pokemon Master Completely Insults The Scarce Pros Of The Movie As Well As Convincing The Unconscious And Forgettable Plot To Marginally Please The Ongoing Fanbase Of Pokemon.

I will start off with this, this movie was kind of mediocre. The plot was kind of all over the place and the characters were ok at best. The idea of Marshadow and the rainbow feather was nice though. I would watch it again, but you aren't missing much in this movie. 3.5/5 mediocre movie
