This was such a stupid movie.

Brilliant adaptation but a bit self-indulgent with the stylization.... Although The self-indulgence is practically a character in the story.

One of the most glorious examples of surrealist cinema...really my pride in the fact that a Greek director is behind such a brilliant idea makes me very proud.

best to skip this weird piece of blank. apart from one 90 second scene with Dafoe and Stone when she returns to the mansion to learn about "God's" reasons, the movie is completely mishandled and skippable.

If you have an open mind and like dark humor, you'll love this movie. It's a spiritual and visual work of art. A lovely monster movie that shows monsters are human and humans are monsters. But fear not, for it has a very happy ending.

Not really an enjoying experience. Honestly, I was disturbed almost throughout the entire movie. It was raunchy just for the sake of it.

Brilliant, elite film, an introspective success.

What did I just watched? Completely clueless movie. Sharing a disturbing and false message. Don't let your teenage daughter watch it.

Well that was certainly not what I was expecting! Heads up - if you're not comfortable watching strong sex scenes (and lots of it), this is not the movie for you. Very quirky and visually impressive, Emma Stone really steals the show here (not surprising she won ALL those best actress awards). So, if you're up for an odd ball fantasy film with strong performances and engaging set pieces, this should suit you.

I loved the book and was so looking forward to the movie. Yet, I hated it. the alterations from the book disempowered Bella and made Winderburn more empathetic. Although Mark Ruffalo deserves the Academy nomination, I really didn't enjoy the move as much as the book. I very much disliked the ending that involved her ex-husband, as well.
