Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

As a film in itself - a good film.

What a fun, goofy film! Sometimes you just have to let go, sit back and look at films for what they are. From the get go, it was well filmed, with beautiful cinematography, and a cast that seemed easy to follow. The wayward brother, the evil uncle, the loving brothers, the father who had sons he evaluated, and a damsel who wasn’t a damsel in distress. Consider it a guilty pleasure. No Oscars here but a fun popcorn eating time to be had for sure. Sit down with some you love and show them that with love, all is possible!

I don't know why critic hate it. Give it a chance .

"Prince of Persia" delivers enjoyable action setpieces and a sweet central romance that makes it easy to see why it appealed to younger audiences. Unfortunately, the thin plot and outdated CGI show its age, with some strange cinematography choices adding to its flaws. Though entertaining, it ultimately lands in guilty pleasure territory, more for nostalgia than quality.

I'm not sure why this movie gets so much hate, because it's honestly one of my all-time favorites. It's a near-perfect film, which is no small feat, especially given how complex time travel can be. I love everything about it. I'm not typically one to follow Rotten Tomatoes, but I had to share my thoughts here and give this movie the praise it deserves.

If you didn't play the video game this is actually an entertaining adventure movie with great actors that carry this film that surprised me in a good way.

Based upon the video game, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is on the borderline of a mediocre adaptation. Despite some decent action sequences, the film's script and plot has a lot left to be desired.

A fantastic action/adventure film.

One of the best video game film adaptations, though the filming style and script occasionally made it seem a bit hokey. It remained faithful to the source material. There are plenty of action and parkour sequences for fans to enjoy.
