- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsRaksha Bandhan is a heartfelt family drama that balances emotional depth with light-hearted moments, capturing the essence of sibling bonds. The film stars Akshay Kumar as Lala, a loving brother determined to fulfil his late mother’s promise to get his four sisters married before focusing on his own life. Akshay Kumar delivers a touching performance, portraying Lala with a mix of humour, vulnerability, and warmth. The supporting cast, particularly the actresses playing his sisters, adds charm and authenticity to the story. Bhumi Pednekar is effective as Lala’s love interest, though her role is secondary to the sibling dynamics. The film’s emotional core is its strength, blending poignant themes of familial love, societal pressures, and sacrifice. However, the narrative occasionally leans too heavily on melodrama, and some jokes and situations feel outdated, detracting from the overall impact. The music and visuals add to the festive and emotional tone but don’t stand out. While Raksha Bandhan may not break new ground, it delivers a heartfelt and relatable story. It’s an engaging watch with enough moments to tug at your heartstrings.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHonestly, a must watch for everyone. Had tears in the eyes of my mother and sister. It was definitely hidden as a comedy with a message that had a strong impact. Akshay Kumar did a great job again.

- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsPathetic, i understand Akki bhaiya likes to make money and it's his job. But the movie.. uufff, orthodox, cringy some good comedy scenes. The guy next to Akshay Kumar did really good.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe critics, for some reason, did not get the point of the film. It almost felt like the feminist in them couldn't even accept the reality of some of the remote areas in India on a screen. I know that things are much better now, but it is still a serious issue in countries like India and Bangladesh. The movie, overall, was a roller coaster of humor and emotion. Don't let the critics mislead you. Watch it; you're going to love it.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsOne of the finest family drama with a great social message made in the recent past. All actors have done a great job but the real star is the heartwarming and heartbreaking story at the heart of the movie.
