I was very impressed with Katie Holmes writing, directing and acting in this movie. Lots of food for thought about life. Definitely recommend 👍

I'm SO disappointed at the blunt ending. The main character's story was left hanging to the point that I thought the Hulu app malfunctioned. Potential wasted. Lots of messages but no deeper meaning to all of the pain. Like a song with no tonic (coming home) note to it.

I agree with some of the other reviews that the movie is a little slow and would have been better if it was shorter. But I thought Alan Cumming and Katie Holmes and Derek Luke gave good performances.

I wanted to like this movie because I like Katie Holmes but the movie was just too slow moving. The main girl that was victimized is not believable as an actress. Her words seemed forced and not natural. Maybe it was the wording of the script that made the actress seem unbelievable? I just couldn't emphasize with her, even though her situation was sad. I stopped watching it halfway through because it was just too boring. Maybe it would have been a good lifetime movie but not a feature film. I was so disappointed with this film.

This is a good movie. It has parts that are a little slow, but for the most part it keeps your attention. It has a good message that I like. I recommend that you see this movie.

Very disappointing. The storyline is clear in the first five minutes of the film, the rest is slow moving molasses. The acting is poor with a few exceptions. It was so boring I had to end the torture early.

A bit uneven in tone however Katie Holmes' latest feature does stir up some resonance here and there.
