Ready or Not

Unexpected good movie! Fun horror/comedy, fast-paced, never a dull moment. Treads some familiar ground, sort of in the "Knives Out" vein, but it stays interesting.

It has some nice horror sequences but overall fell short of being very good. One time watch at best.

Watching Ready or Not is like actually playing hide and seek. You play for the fun of it, you don't get picked to tell the story and you hide for the fun of it, and then you find a place, it's dark, it's cramped, it's terrifying... and you hope to be found as quickly as possible, and when they find you, you smile again.

Great movie cool scene but ending its too basic

I dont think I have ever been more flabbergasted by a review/rating before. I have absolutely no idea how this has the rating it has. it is literally a "scary movie" type film yet not at all funny. From a horror point of view, this was one of the most tame "horror" (or dark comedy...whatever you want to call it) movies I have ever seen. Ready or Not at least helped me understand why I hate dark comedy...it is so rarely done well, and much more often than not I see a potentially decent horror film, or just a failed attempt at a "horror" American Pie. The only reason I scored a 2 star is because it wasnt unbearable. Everyone that has helped this movie get this rating need to take some time to reevaluate their cognitive abilities.

Nice for a group of teenagers on the couch to watch when their parents are not present.

If you’re into horror comedies this is a must see but based on my overall enjoyment, I have given it 4 stars. This movie wasn’t scary at all but the violence was very detailed and graphic which I love to see (not to sound like a psychopath), as it shows how far our technology has come. There was definitely a lot of funny moments that kept me entertained throughout the film and the ending caught me by surprise, pretty great movie. Definitely recommend it. 8/10

Ready or Not blew me away. I seriously loved how the story was told - smart, intense, and filled with just the right amount of twists and suspense. The lead actress delivered a standout performance - her portrayal of raw survival instincts and quiet strength was nothing short of masterful. The supporting cast was equally strong, each character playing a vital role in elevating the experience. The pacing kept me on edge the whole time. I didn't expect to enjoy it this much, but it turned out to be one of the coolest, most gripping survival thrillers I've seen in a long time. Just brilliant. If you love this genre, or are just starting to watch it, definitely give it a go.
